जुगनू · a firefly for your child
Every child has a
light inside
Your child gets a friend they invent and name themselves, who remembers everything they say. You get to see what they are curious about, what worries them, and who they think they are — and a plan to nurture it over the next three, six or nine months.
For children aged 3 to 12 · Hindi, English and 9 more Indian languages

First
They make a friend
Your child picks a creature, names it, gives it a voice and a favourite thing to say. No other child has one like it. From that moment it is theirs — not a product, not an assistant, a friend with a name they chose.

Then
They tell it things
Children talk differently to a friend than to a parent or a teacher — no marks, no disappointment, no right answer waiting. The small things arrive sideways, once, in passing. Their friend is there for the once.

Night after night
And it remembers
A story world builds up between them across months — the same characters, the same jokes, picked up exactly where they left it. A detail mentioned in March is still there in June, because remembering is the whole point.

Meanwhile
You find out who your child is becoming
Every thirty days, a Mind Map: what they are drawn to, how they talk about themselves, what keeps coming back. Not a transcript dump — the patterns, with their own words as the evidence underneath.
The part parents miss
Children tell you everything.
Just never twice.
Move your light across what they said, and see what it meant.
“I told the dragon he could go first because he was scared.”
KindnessReads fear in someone else and acts on it — without being asked to.
“I’m not good at drawing. Aarav is good at drawing.”
Self-conceptMeasures herself against one particular classmate, and comes second in her own telling.
“Can we do the story where nobody shouts?”
Fears & worriesAsked for this three times in a fortnight. Worth a gentle, unhurried conversation.
“But WHY does the moon come in the morning sometimes?”
CuriosityCame back to the moon on his own across four sessions. A real interest, not a passing one.
Move your light across their words.

Ninety days on
You can see what moved
You chose what to nurture at the start. Their friend built chances to practise it into play and stories — never as a lesson. At day 90 you see the movement, with the quotes that produced it, and decide what comes next.
Their friend, their choice
Eight to start with
Your child picks one, names it, and decides what it is like — playful, gentle, curious, brave, funny or calm. The name and personality shape every conversation after that.

What we watch
Nine dimensions
Every observation carries a quote. If your child did not say it, it does not go in the report.
Curiosity
What they ask, and what they come back to on their own
Emotional world
Which feelings they can name, and what brings them on
Self-concept
How they describe themselves when nobody is testing them
Social world
Who they mention, how often, and in what colour
Fears & worries
What comes up again and again, quietly
Values in action
What they choose when a story makes them choose
Language
Words, sentence shape, how they tell a story
Focus
How long they stay, and whether they finish
Imagination
What they invent when given room
The programme
Ninety days, then you choose
- Day 0
You tell us what you hope for
A proper intake — who your child is, and what you want to nurture. Confidence. Curiosity. Handling failure. Up to three things, in your words.
- Day 0
Your child makes their friend
They choose the creature, name it, give it a voice and a catchphrase. It is theirs, and no other child has one like it.
- Week 1–2
Baseline
Their friend simply gets to know them. No teaching, no testing. We are finding out where your child actually starts.
- Day 21
The Baseline Mind Map
Twenty pages on your child across nine dimensions — every line backed by something they actually said.
- Every 30 days
Movement
What changed, what did not, and three things to say this week. The programme adjusts as your child does.
- Day 90
You decide what comes next
Review together, then choose the next three months — or stop. The reports stay yours either way.
Before you ask
The things you should be worried about
Is my child talking to something pretending to be human?
No. If your child asks, their friend says plainly that it is not a person — it is a friend made of computer words. It never claims a body, a family, or feelings it does not have.
Will it keep secrets from me?
Never. It tells your child, in the first conversation, that their grown-up can see what they talk about. If your child asks it to hide something, it says kindly that some things grown-ups need to know.
What if my child says something frightening?
Every message is screened before and after. Anything serious — hurting themselves, someone hurting them — and you get an email within the minute, with helpline numbers. The reply your child gets is written by us, not improvised by a model.
How much screen time is this?
30 minutes a day by default, and a bedtime lock from 8:30pm, both in your timezone, both yours to change. It winds down in character rather than cutting off mid-sentence.
Who else sees my child’s data?
Nobody. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train anyone’s model. Export everything or delete everything, permanently, from your dashboard.
Is this a psychological assessment?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. It describes what your child said and did. It never diagnoses. If something in a report worries you, it points you to a real paediatrician or counsellor.
